Hope for the Resurrection: Considering our Future

On June 20, 2018, at 6:00 pm, our congregation gathered together for a pot-luck supper and a conversation regarding our church’s future. We have a past we can be proud of, here at Enfield American Baptist. Founded as a new church plant in the 1964, from our humble beginnings in the living room of the McCords, to a growing and thriving congregation in the 1970s and 80s, we have found ourselves in difficult times. We’re considering not whether to continue our ministry, but HOW we are going to continue our ministry.

Leading up to this meeting, I provided a sermon series focused on providing food for thought as we discern our future. I’m pleased to share with you links to the google doc version of the sermons, along with the associated lectionary scriptures. Follow the links to read.
